ChainCatcher reports that, according to Coinglass data, if Ethereum breaks above $2,100, the cumulative short liquidation strength on major centralized exchanges will reach 896 million. Conversely, if Ethereum falls below $1,900, the cumulative long liquidation strength on major centralized exchanges will reach 650 million.
The liquidation chart does not display the exact number of contracts pending liquidation or the precise value of contracts being liquidated. The bars on the chart represent the importance of each liquidation cluster relative to nearby clusters, i.e., the intensity. Therefore, the liquidation chart shows how much the price of the underlying asset will be affected when it reaches a certain level. Higher “liquidation bars” indicate that once the price reaches that point, it will trigger a stronger reaction due to liquidity waves.
