According to Mars Finance, on October 14th, the tweet tokenization project Trends.fun launched an event “Collecting Chinese Names for Solana,” with a reward pool of 100 SOL. Users can participate by retweeting the official tweet and writing their proposed Chinese name for Solana. The reward rules state that the tweet with the best proposal will receive 66 SOL, the second place will get 33 SOL, and one participant will be randomly drawn to receive 1 SOL. The event has started and will end on October 17, 2025, at 14:00 (UTC+8). The official stated that “best performance” could comprehensively refer to various indicators, including community platform data and popularity on Trends. Earlier today, Solana's official X account and founder Toly both retweeted Trends.fun's tweet regarding the collection of a Chinese name for Solana. Trends founder Mable stated: “A few days ago, someone reminded me that Solana still doesn't have a Chinese name. Ethereum's Chinese name, 以太坊, has allowed ETH to spread better in the East, perhaps now is the time to listen to the community's voice? Let's come up with a good Chinese name.”
