If your token or what backs it has real value, it may survive and thrive
If token is empty, it will most likely die eventually

Once your token dump, project is basically fighting its own chart
Thousands of holders down 80–90% will sell every small pump just to escape
No roadmap, partnership, or dev update can fix that psychology
