Why in China does storytelling begin to replace results? When outcomes become increasingly difficult to evaluate, biases are acknowledged, and safety is compromised, the system shifts to another approach—telling stories. As a result, we no longer just discuss results, but focus on achievements, accomplishments, greatness, correctness, and the path. The common point among these words is that they do not require comparison or review. When storytelling precedes the evaluation of results, it loses the ability to correct direction. Stories can explain everything, but they cannot correct the course.
