Fed Governor Waller: Tendency to support rate cut in December

Odaily Planet Daily News, Federal Reserve Board Director Waller said in a speech that he is inclined to support a rate cut in December. The policy interest rate is already sufficiently restrictive, so even if there is a rate cut in December, there is enough room to slow down the pace of rate cuts as needed in the future. It still has a long way to go to reach the neutral level of the policy interest rate, and it is expected to continue cutting rates in the next year. The speed and timing of rate cuts will be determined by the economic situation.
