US initial jobless claims fall for the second week in a row, reaching the lowest level since July.

On August 15th, Jinshi Data reported that despite a recent decline in job vacancies, the number of initial jobless claims in the United States has fallen for the second consecutive week, reaching its lowest level since early July. The data released shows that for the week ending August 10th, the number of initial jobless claims decreased by 7,000 to 227,000. The median forecast by economists surveyed by institutions was 235,000. In addition, for the week ending August 3rd, the number of continued jobless claims also decreased to 1.86 million.
