On July 15th, Jinshi Data News reported that on the 15th local time, Syria will hold parliamentary elections. Local media analysis pointed out that this parliamentary election will witness the rejuvenation of the ruling party, the Ba’ath Party, and bring new political reforms to Syria. After 13 years of civil war, the territory of Syria is divided, and the Syrian government currently controls about three-quarters of the territory, while most of northern Syria is still under the control of the opposition. This parliamentary election will mainly take place in the government-controlled areas. Tarek, a Syrian political expert, said that the election will ensure a stable political environment for the government-controlled areas of Syria.
