Bitwise Asset Management, a mainstream U.S. cryptocurrency index fund management company, released its predictions for the top 10 cryptocurrencies in 2024 on January 3. Bitwise believes that “cryptocurrencies have withstood the test and performed well in 2023, and the cryptocurrency field will be more prosperous in 2024.”
Here are Bitwise’s 10 bold predictions for the crypto space in 2024.
Prediction 1: Bitcoin will trade above $80,000, setting a new all-time high.
Prediction 2: The spot Bitcoin ETF will be approved and overall will be the most successful ETF launch ever.
Prediction 3: Coinbase’s revenue will double and exceed Wall Street expectations by at least 10 times.
Prediction 4: More funds will be settled using stablecoins than using Visa.
Prediction 5: As Wall Street prepares to tokenize real-world assets, JPMorgan will tokenize a fund and launch it on-chain.
Prediction 6: Ethereum revenue will more than double to $5 billion as users flock to crypto applications.
Prediction 7: American singer-songwriter and music producer Taylor Swift will launch NFT to connect with fans in a new way.
Prediction 8: Artificial intelligence assistants will use cryptocurrencies for online payments, confirming that cryptocurrencies are the “native currency of the Internet.”
Prediction 9: As the prediction market becomes the new “killer application” of cryptocurrency, more than $100 million will be invested in the prediction market.
