Hex Trust will issue and secure wrapped XRP (wXRP), a 1:1 anchored token of the native XRP, issued based on the LayerZero OFT standard, aiming to unlock decentralized finance utility across multiple blockchains. The Solana team stated that XRP has stood the test of time and has become one of the most important and most liquid currencies in the cryptocurrency space, with its long-term usability combined with Solana’s high-performance execution capabilities.
