Adobe announces three applications: Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat PDF will integrate OpenAI’s ChatGPT platform. These three applications incorporate artificial intelligence to provide better support for creators and designers in the field of graphic design. Adobe can strengthen its interactive connection with users through collaboration with OpenAI. If users enjoy using ChatGPT within Photoshop, Adobe may also develop more plugins for ChatGPT, and other applications such as Illustrator are expected to be upgraded in the future.
Photoshop and Adobe Express integrate with ChatGPT, allowing image editing through natural language
After integrating ChatGPT, Photoshop users can perform image editing via natural language commands. Users only need to enter simple commands like, “Photoshop, change the background of this image,” to quickly complete the editing work. After the initial editing, users can continue sending multiple follow-up commands for adjustments, achieving highly customized design needs.
Adobe Express is the second design application to integrate Adobe into ChatGPT. It is simpler than Photoshop and mainly used for basic design tasks, such as creating advertisement images or promotional brochures. The application includes a creative asset library, which can be directed using ChatGPT to utilize these assets.
Acrobat supports natural language conversion to PDF
The built-in version of Acrobat with ChatGPT will also support natural language text input, similar to Photoshop and Adobe Express. Users can instruct AI to convert Word documents to PDF, merge multiple files into one, or edit confidential business data. If the PDF contains tables, Acrobat can export them as separate Excel files. This enhancement improves efficiency for users dealing with complex tables.
Currently, Acrobat, Photoshop, and Adobe Express are available to ChatGPT users worldwide, and can be used on all platforms except Android. Although not yet supporting Android users, Adobe states that support will be available soon.
Adobe’s AI features include a built-in chatbot. When using Photoshop and Adobe Express, users can perform edits via natural language prompts. Additionally, the company offers a series of Firefly media generation models, which enterprise clients can fine-tune using internal datasets.
