Foresight News reports that 1kx has released an on-chain income report (for the first half of 2025), which summarizes on-chain fee data from over 1,000 protocols. In the first half of 2025, users paid $9.7 billion in on-chain fees, a year-on-year rise of 41%, setting a historical high. In addition to on-chain fees, the off-chain transaction fees during the same period were $23.5 billion, with CEX accounting for the largest share of revenue, estimated at $19 billion. The remaining part mainly includes other financial infrastructures such as market makers and fund asset management fees. The revenue generated from block rewards and stablecoin issuance during the same period was $23.1 billion.
