Jin10 data September 30 - Due to concerns about U.S. tariffs and weak earnings, market sentiment has been dampened, and the Indian stock market is expected to see a record outflow of foreign capital this year. According to data compiled by Bloomberg, as of September 26 this year, overseas investors have net withdrawn $16.8 billion from the Indian stock market, close to the record set in 2022. Preliminary data shows that outflows on Monday amounted to $319 million. The selling intensified this quarter after Trump significantly raised H-1B visa fees. Analysts believe that due to doubts about whether the U.S. and India can reach a trade protocol soon and weak corporate earnings growth, the prospects for foreign capital returning are slim.
