Gate News bot news, publicly traded company Semler Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMLR) has adopted Bitcoin as its primary financial reserve asset and is one of the major corporate holders of Bitcoin.

The company announced the appointment of Joe Burnett as the Bitcoin Strategic Director. Semler Scientific also announced plans to utilize the proceeds from equity and debt financing, as well as operating cash flow, to hold 10,000 Bitcoins by the end of 2025, 42,000 by the end of 2026, and 105,000 Bitcoins by the end of 2027.
