Elon Musk officially left the White House after 130 days of "chaos in the heavenly palace"

The world’s richest billionaire Elon Musk will leave the administration of President Donald Trump after a period serving in a special role in the effort to restructure the federal government. A White House official confirmed this information to Reuters, stating that Musk’s transition process will begin tonight. The price of Dogecoin (DOGE) did not fluctuate significantly after this information.

In a post on social media X on Wednesday, Musk expressed his gratitude to President Trump as his term as a special government employee in the Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE) comes to an end.

According to information from the White House, Musk’s 130-day term is expected to end around May 30. However, the efforts to cut and reform the federal administrative apparatus led by DOGE will continue.

“DOGE is not just a reform program but will become a lifestyle throughout the government,” Musk shared.

Under the direction of Trump and DOGE, the government has cut nearly 12% of its workforce – equivalent to about 260,000 people – out of a total of 2.3 million federal civilian employees, mainly through measures such as threats of layoffs, severance packages, and early retirement, according to a report from Reuters.

However, Musk has recently strongly criticized the new budget and tax bill proposed by the Republican Party in Congress, stating that it is a “huge spending package” that increases the budget deficit and goes against the efforts of the DOGE team. He expressed this view in an interview with CBS News on Tuesday.

Musk’s political activities have faced significant criticism from the public and some investors, including calls for him to step down from his advisory role to the President in order to focus on running Tesla.

Musk has lost billions of dollars in personal assets since entering politics, his Tesla has also faced severe attacks around the world, particularly in the US and Europe.
