Many people are trapped in a lifetime by face and shame. It's not that they can't, but that they don't dare—afraid of disturbing others, afraid of rejection and looking bad, afraid of judgment, afraid of embarrassment. The cruelest part of shame is that before others deny you, you've already held yourself back. But only when you move forward will you realize that most people judging you are still standing still; they are neither responsible for your life nor can they decide how far you can go. When you run far away, all they can do is leave a few comments. Living is not about looking good, but about freedom. Cutting the rope called shame and stepping out of the circle called face is the true beginning of living for yourself.
