Celo Co-founder: Currently, nearly half of the transaction fees on the Celo on-chain are paid in USDT.
PANews reported on May 6 that mareko.eth, co-founder of Celo, tweeted that nearly half of the transaction fees on the Celo blockchain are currently paid using USDT. From the Dune chart, it can be seen that since the end of 2024, the proportion of USDT (green section) in the total Gas usage of Celo has risen rapidly. Celo allows users to pay Gas with multiple Tokens without account abstraction, and the system automatically converts the fees to CELO for processing, greatly enhancing user payment flexibility and on-chain interaction convenience.
