According to Gate.io News bot, as reported by Bitcoin Laws, South Carolina Representative Jordan Pace has introduced the Bitcoin Reserve Bill (H4256), which stipulates that the state treasurer has the authority to invest 10% of state funds in Bitcoin, with a reserve cap set at 1 million BTC.
Previously, North Carolina has passed the Bitcoin Reserve Act SB327, which also authorizes the state treasurer to allocate 10% of public funds to Bitcoin.
