I noticed that the decline of cryptocurrencies is accelerating at the start of this week. Bitcoin just dropped below $66,000, while WTI oil is soaring with nearly a 20% increase to $108.35 per barrel. It has become a common pattern: when geopolitical tensions rise, traditional markets stir and this directly impacts cryptocurrencies.

Meanwhile, this crypto drop is affecting the entire ecosystem. Ether and Solana are also declining, but less sharply. What's interesting is that WLFI plunged 12% after debates about its lending strategy on Dolomite. When tensions escalate and liquidity tightens, alternative tokens always take a bigger hit.

Futures on US indices are down nearly 2% overall. The crypto decline follows the broader market trend. This week will be important to watch to see if a bottom is found or if the decline continues.

SOL0,55%
WLFI-0,68%
