Been thinking about when is the next bull run lately, and honestly the data is pointing to something pretty interesting. Most analysts seem to agree that early to mid-2026 is shaping up to be the real deal for crypto momentum.

Here's what I'm seeing. The timing actually makes sense if you look at Bitcoin's halving back in April 2024. Historically, we tend to see the strongest bull phases kick in about 12 to 18 months after these events. That math puts us right in the sweet spot we're looking at now—first half to mid-2026 is where things could really accelerate.

Raoul Pal and a few other macro strategists have been pretty vocal about June 2026 being a potential peak for this cycle. If the current trends hold and we get the right catalysts, that's a realistic window. The question everyone keeps asking is when is the next bull run going to truly take off, and the answer seems to be sooner rather than later.

What could actually trigger this? Interest rate cuts are obviously huge. We need regulatory clarity—that's always been a bottleneck. Then there's institutional money, which has been warming up. And narratives matter too. Tokenization, AI-related projects, that kind of stuff tends to drive fresh capital into the space.

Looking at current prices, BTC is sitting around $68.81K (up 2.61% in 24h), ETH at $2.12K (up 2.84%), and SOL at $81.87 (up 1.74%). These moves are modest but they're setting the tone.

One thing to keep in mind though—not everything moves at the same pace. Bitcoin might lead the charge, but altcoins could either follow or do their own thing depending on liquidity and what's actually being adopted. Some coins might consolidate longer than others, so the bull run won't necessarily be uniform across the board.

Bottom line: when is the next bull run really starting? It looks like early to mid-2026 is when we should see sustained momentum building, with a potential peak around mid-year if the fundamentals cooperate. But volatility will still be the name of the game. Worth keeping an eye on how things develop over the next few months.
