I recently explored several free AI trading solutions that are really worth it if you're looking to automate or improve your strategies without spending a dime upfront.
Like many, I started with TradingView. It’s not a fully AI-based platform, but honestly, the smart indicators and the ability to create custom scripts in Pine Script to automate your strategies are already pretty good. The best part is that you can backtest your ideas before going live. The free version is already comprehensive, even though the pro version offers more advanced tools.
Next, there’s TrendSpider, which really impressed me. The AI automatically identifies price patterns, trend lines, Fibonacci levels... It’s like having a technical analyst working 24/7 for you. Trading signal alerts are convenient, even if the free version has some limitations. The paid version unlocks much more powerful AI.
For those interested in on-chain data and market psychology, Tuner AI offers a different approach. The AI analyzes data to suggest entry points based on real information. It’s free in the basic version, with a premium option if you want more depth.
Now, if you really want automated AI trading, CryptoHopper and 3Commas are the most frequently mentioned names. CryptoHopper works like a bot that uses AI to optimize your strategies and connects to multiple major exchanges. There’s a free plan, but it’s limited in the number of transactions. 3Commas offers automated trading with DCA and Grid Trading, integrating AI to manage risks and optimize profits. Again, a free version exists but it caps the number of bots.
The real question is: which type of free AI trading tool suits you best? Are you looking for pure automation, better technical analysis, or just signals to help you decide? Each of these tools serves a different role, and honestly, starting for free with one of them is the best way to see what works for you.
