Nasdaq will eliminate the 10% minimum free float requirement starting May 1 and introduce a new "Fast Track" rule.

Golden Finance reports that on March 31, according to Cointelegraph, Nasdaq announced that it will officially eliminate the 10% minimum float threshold starting May 1, 2026, and has added “Fast Track” rules that allow mega-cap IPOs to be added to the Nasdaq 100 index within about 15 trading days.
