Asian stock markets open lower; South Korea's KOSPI index down 2.8%

People’s Financial News, March 19 — The stock markets in Japan and South Korea opened lower across the board. The Nikkei 225 index opened down 1.72%, at 54,290.10 points; South Korea’s KOSPI index fell 2.8%, at 5,759.08 points.
