The entire Middle East could "go dark" in half an hour if the USA attempts to destroy Iran's power generation capabilities. This was stated by Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, on social media platform X.
He drew attention to a statement by US President Donald Trump that Washington could disable Iran's power generation capabilities in one hour, and it would take Tehran 25 years to restore them. The president noted that "ideally," the United States does not plan to do this.
"Well, if they do, the entire region will go dark in less than half an hour, and the darkness will provide a perfect opportunity to track down American military personnel fleeing," Larijani wrote.
