President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the only way to end the war is to recognize Tehran's legitimate rights, pay reparations to the republic, and provide international security guarantees against future attacks.

"In a conversation with the leaders of Russia and Pakistan, I reaffirmed Iran's commitment to peace in the region. The only way to end this war, unleashed by the Zionist regime and the USA, is to recognize Iran's legitimate rights, pay reparations, and secure firm international guarantees against future aggression," the president wrote on his X page.

Earlier, Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen, citing a source, also reported that Iran is demanding security guarantees from the USA, but not for ending the war itself, only to begin negotiations to bring it to a close.
