Can the future be accurately calculated? What are humans still anxious about?

When Elon Musk elevates "predicting the future" to the core of intelligent judgment, he's actually challenging human pride. Because what we fear most is the future. An intelligent agent capable of precise prediction can bring efficiency but also unease. If AI knows in advance about traffic jams, stock market downturns, or health risks, the value of human "experiential judgment" will be diminished. Rational systems will replace intuition. But is wisdom really just about prediction accuracy? Much of human progress comes from surprises—accidental discoveries, wrong attempts, crazy dreams. The future isn't always predictable; sometimes it's revealed through "trial and error." Perhaps Musk's view is more about the definition of engineering systems rather than all of wisdom. For machines, prediction is central; for humans, meaning, value, and creativity are equally important. If one day AI can accurately predict the future, humans might no longer worry about "what will happen," but instead start thinking about "what we want." At that point, the standard of wisdom may be upgraded again.
