Gelonghui February 19 — McDonald’s Korea announced on Thursday that due to rising costs, they will increase prices on 35 menu items starting Friday, with an average increase of 2.4%. This price adjustment comes less than a year after the company’s last price change in March 2025, when they raised the prices of 20 menu items by an average of 2.3%. In a press release, the company stated, “The price adjustment is unavoidable due to the weakening of the Korean won against the US dollar, which has led to higher raw material costs, as well as increased labor costs.” Earlier this month, Burger King also raised product prices in Korea for similar reasons, with the price of their flagship “Whopper” burger increasing by 200 won to 7,400 won.
