According to the National Energy Administration, from midnight on the 28th day of the lunar month (February 15) to 24:00 on the first day of the Lunar New Year (February 17), a total of 140.99 million charging sessions were recorded on highway charging stations included in the National Charging Infrastructure Monitoring and Service Platform, which covers 53,300 charging piles. During the first three days of the Spring Festival holiday, the average daily charging volume for new energy vehicles on highways reached 11.8 million kilowatt-hours, a 63.05% increase compared to the same period last year. The operation of highway charging infrastructure remained stable, effectively ensuring the travel needs of people visiting family, tourism, and returning home by new energy vehicles during the holiday. In the coming days, as the return journey peak of the Spring Festival holiday approaches, the National Energy Administration, in coordination with relevant departments, will further strengthen scheduling and monitoring to continuously ensure the charging needs of new energy vehicle travel during the Spring Festival holiday.
