Ukrainian representatives said they have begun negotiations with Russian and American representatives in Geneva.

On the 17th, Umerov, the head of Ukraine’s negotiating team and Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, said on social media that representatives from Ukraine, the United States, and Russia have launched a new round of negotiations in Geneva, Switzerland. Umerov stated that security and humanitarian issues are the key topics of this round of talks. The Ukrainian side is approaching the negotiations with a constructive and focused attitude, without harboring unnecessary expectations. The task of the Ukrainian delegation is to make every effort to promote solutions that can achieve sustainable peace. Umerov also thanked Switzerland for providing the necessary conditions for the preparation and hosting of this round of negotiations. (Xinhua)
