This time, during the Consensus conference in Hong Kong, I participated in many discussion events about AI and Web3, and overall it was very inspiring. Previously, when I talked about these topics, I always felt that it was somewhat complicated; there are many concepts, but when it comes to daily application, it’s still quite distant. This time was a bit different, as everyone was talking more about things that are already starting to work, and they were very frank in saying: which areas haven't gone smoothly, and which ideas still need more waiting in reality.

The immediate impression I took away is: everyone has already started to become more calm. They are no longer obsessed with "it must be very advanced and impressive," but are more concerned with "Is this thing easy to use? Can it reduce user hassle? Or is it just a great appearance?"

In fact, some key points are becoming repeatedly emphasized. Such as: can we avoid dumping all information on the user at once, can risks be clarified in advance, and can the number of steps in processes be reduced? These issues are not new, but they are often the decisive factors in whether something is actually adopted.

Personally, I am also very impressed with this current pace. It’s natural that industry progress is a good thing, but sometimes it’s better to slow down a bit and be more stable, as that makes it easier for us to go further. Doing things well is much more important than just saying nice things.
