Mars Finance reports that on February 13, the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Paul Atkins, told legislators that prediction markets are a “huge issue” of concern for regulators, as the field is rapidly evolving. He and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chairman Michael Selig are both very focused on this.
