On January 30, Times Finance learned from Novo Nordisk that Zhou Xaping, Senior Vice President and President of Greater China at Novo Nordisk, will resign, with her last working day being March 31, 2026. The new Senior Vice President and President of Greater China will be Cai Yan, and the personnel change will take effect on March 1, 2023.
According to Novo Nordisk, Cai Yan graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in China and earned a Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen. She has also completed several executive development programs, including at Harvard Business School, and serves on the board of the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF). She has been with Novo Nordisk for over 23 years, holding several key positions in R&D headquarters and the International Operations (IO) department. (Times Finance Zhang Yuqi)
