Techub News reports that according to Caixin, the UK High Court in Manchester held a procedural hearing this week regarding the civil forfeiture case of Qian Zhimin's Bitcoin. The hearing did not make any rulings on asset ownership, compensation plans, or substantive legal issues. The focus of the hearing was on "who represents Chinese victims" and the arrangement of代理. The judge expressed concerns about the potential risk of "代理泛滥" (over-proxying) due to multiple law firms representing different groups. The subsequent hearing is scheduled for February 16–17, during which further arrangements or guidance may be provided regarding the specific impact of the bankruptcy liquidation process on the civil forfeiture case.
