Every era has a few key individuals whose decisions influence the entire industry. In the business and technology sectors, certain core figures are always present.
Over the past decade, we have witnessed numerous transformations. Electric vehicles have shifted from niche concepts to mainstream consumer products, energy storage technologies have gradually improved power systems, autonomous driving has moved from science fiction to reality, humanoid robots have entered industrial applications, satellite internet has reshaped communication landscapes, brain-computer interfaces have opened new doors in neuroscience, and heavy-lift rockets are advancing space exploration… These fields, once seemingly out of reach, have suddenly become the hottest trends.
Interestingly, behind these hot topics, similar driving forces can be observed. From the energy revolution to automation, from the space race to brain science, innovations across different fields seem to be erupting intensively in the same era. It’s not a coincidence but the result of continuous bets, investments, and pushes. These choices are profoundly influencing the evolution of the entire industry ecosystem.

Basically, it's about where the money is flowing. These big shots can get excited just with a finger pointing at the trend.

Basically, it's just a few big shots playing chess, and we're just along for the ride.

Haha, it's just ridiculous. Ten years ago, when you talked about autonomous driving, everyone thought you were talking about science fiction. Now it's everywhere. Turns out, you still need someone willing to take the risk.

At the end of the day, it's still those few people playing chess; we're all just pawns.
Humanoid robots, brain-machine interfaces, Starlink... they all sound impressive, but only a handful can truly push forward. Others' efforts are just along for the ride.
Looking back over these ten years, it's no coincidence; someone has been behind the scenes orchestrating everything.
I really envy those who can see ten years into the future.
The so-called "hot trend" is, to put it nicely, an opportunity; to put it bluntly, it's being cut.
Only those with money and power can decide what the next era will look like; ordinary people can only follow the trend.

Basically, it's just a few big players playing the capital game, and we're just following suit to buy in.
