The head of a leading crypto analysis organization recently pointed out an interesting phenomenon — on social platforms, genuine crypto enthusiasts seem to be held to a much higher standard, while spammy bot accounts are often turned a blind eye.

He noted that there is a clear asymmetry in the platform's content moderation mechanism. On one hand, real users active in the community are frequently restricted or have their content removed due to minor issues; on the other hand, obvious bot accounts are able to send spam and scam links without restraint. This enforcement logic is indeed somewhat ironic.

From the perspective of the crypto community, this phenomenon undermines the value of platforms as discussion venues. Authentic community participation is suppressed, while spam proliferates, which in the long run is not beneficial to the health of the entire ecosystem. This also reflects the increasing need for users to find more fair and transparent discussion platforms when it comes to mainstream tokens like BTC, ETH, BNB, and others.
