Bitcoin’s New Year rally was halted near the critical $90,000 support level. Since November 2025, Bitcoin has failed to hold this level three times, leading traders to view the recent rally as a potential bull trap. Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley has filed applications for Solana ETF and Bitcoin ETF, indicating that institutional investors are further entering the cryptocurrency space; the proposed Solana fund plans to stake SOL tokens to earn rewards. Shiba Inu’s price once surged to $0.00001, wiping out one zero, but failed to hold after breaking above the 100-day moving average. Although XRP rose about 32% in January, technical analyst John Bollinger still urges investors to remain cautious with XRP, noting that its trend remains weaker than Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin itself recorded its first annual red candlestick after the halving, breaking its historical cycle. The current trading price is around $91,000, with analysts closely watching potential volatility on Sunday.
