CoinWorld reports that Wu said on Twitter that the Wall Street industry organization SIFMA and representatives from the crypto industry held a closed-door meeting on Thursday to coordinate disagreements over the Senate's Crypto Market Structure Act. The two sides made "progress" on DeFi regulatory exemptions, but disagreements remain on issues such as yield-bearing stablecoins. Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott plans to conduct a key revision review next Thursday, and the bill needs bipartisan support to move forward.
