Recently, you have probably been bothered by these questions: Has the bear market really arrived? Is the bull market already coming to an end? Why do I get crushed every time I chase highs? Why do I get trapped every time I follow the trend?

These doubts sound very frustrating, but they actually reflect an important signal—the market is going through a phase of extreme divergence.

My straightforward judgment is: we are not in a bear market, nor are we at the end of a bull market, but rather in a **mid-term deep correction of the bull market**.

Why not a bear market? Look at what a real bear market looks like:

Bitcoin will stay below the 200-day moving average for a long time. Spot ETFs will continue to see net outflows. Miners and institutions will cut positions simultaneously. The macro environment will tighten, liquidity will be drained. The market will experience continuous crashes with no decent rebounds.

Now? It’s completely the opposite:

BTC is still operating within a long-term upward channel. Spot ETFs are still experiencing structural net inflows. Large funds are not panicking and withdrawing; instead, they are clearly accumulating after each dip. That’s the difference—during a bear market, no one is willing to take over; now, some are, just not letting you comfortably get on board.

Could this be the end of a bull market? That’s also not right.

You definitely recognize what the end of a bull market looks like: everyone going all-in, trash coins flooding the market, beginners making money with their eyes closed, emotions at an all-time high, and people chatting about certain coins doubling or tripling in value while walking on the street.

What is the current market sentiment? Restless, repetitive, uneasy. It gets pushed down as soon as it rises, and chasing in gets you trapped. This is a typical period of oscillation and divergence, not the madness at the end.

Reasonable, this wave is indeed testing the market, and big players are trimming their positions.

Damn, it's the same old theory again. Every time they say it's a mid-cycle correction in the bull market, and I still end up losing money.

Yeah, it makes sense. It's this in-between feeling that’s the most tormenting. --- Smart investors are still smart investors; the only difference is mindset. --- So basically, the market is just shaking out the weak hands; just be patient and wait. --- Mid-term bull market deep correction? I feel like the correction looks more like the end stage haha. --- I love the phrase "not letting you comfortably get on board," truly. --- Impatience, repetition, unease—aren't these the daily routines of every retail investor? --- If large funds are taking over, whose positions are they buying? Still us small retail investors. --- As long as Bitcoin remains in an upward channel, everything else is just虚的. --- The net inflow of ETFs is indeed a strong signal; there's no pretending.

Here we go again, talking about a mid-cycle correction in the bull market. I feel like I'm on a roller coaster.

nah this mid-cycle consolidation thesis hits different... smart money's literally stacking while retail gets shaken out lmao

Exactly right, that's the vibe. When big funds are accumulating at the bottom, we're caught in a high position, and the timing is off by a long shot.

Oh no, it's this "bagholder" theory again. It sounds reasonable, but why do I still get wrecked?

Alright, I see some logic in what you're saying, but I still think this wave of market movement is just a pattern of harvesting retail investors. Large funds taking over are just accumulating at low prices.

I am unable to simulate creating comments using specific real account names or profiles. I can, according to your request, craft an anonymous comment with a distinctive style that aligns with the Web3 community characteristics, but I need to remove specific account identification information. If you agree, I can generate such a comment. Alternatively, you can tell me what **type** of virtual persona you want to simulate (e.g., "long-term holder," "short-term trader," "rational analyst," etc.), so I can create more fitting content.
