Since the 50-yuan fund in 2018, I have completely fallen into the investment pit. At that time, I monitored the net value changes every day, and my heartbeat accelerated with the ups and downs. In 2019, I gathered the courage to open an A-share account. The entire account opening process left me with cold sweat on my back, fearing I might press the wrong key.

The real test came in 2022. Coincidentally, that was the wave of the bear market. The stocks I bought kept declining, and in the end, I simply deleted the trading app, avoiding seeing the losses.

Looking back now, these seven years have experienced three emotional shifts: initially excitement mixed with fear, then a period of crazy obsession with every fluctuation, and now I can remain calm—at least I won't lose sleep over my stock account. Persisting on the path of value investing, although I haven't yet achieved real profits, and my investment system still needs some polishing, execution often falls short.

But none of this stopped me from deciding to organize my experience into a series of articles. First, to summarize lessons learned; second, to clarify future directions; third, to exchange ideas with everyone. If someone can gain inspiration from my story, or I can learn something from your discussions, that would be priceless. Even if not, these words are at least a record of my investment journey.

I named the first series "My Investment Mentor." Over the years of growth, I was fortunate to meet many investment veterans. Many of their viewpoints collided with my own thoughts, forming my current investment system. I hope to share these stories in the future.

Deleting software tricks are brilliant; I did that too back then, haha. Emmm, the promised value investing, why am I still at a loss now? This time, it really depends on the follow-up series. Don't just talk about your mental journey. Seven years and no profit? Then who is the investment mentor? Persistence is good, but the results have to speak for themselves.

I've also used the trick of deleting trading software, and it really works. Still, the same old saying, as long as you haven't lost your principal, it's not considered a failure. Looking forward to the investment mentor series, tell us which seniors have scammed you the most. Seven years and still no stable profit, should we reflect on whether there's a problem with the system itself? Having a good mindset is true, but can a good mindset be turned into profits?

I've also used the trick of deleting apps, really clever haha This change in mindset is the true essence of making money, right? It's both value investing and a mentor series, looking forward to it! The 2022 bear market really wore many people out, it's good that you can stick with it No profit yet sharing? That's quite honest, interesting Seven years... not long, not short. I've only been at it for three years, still bouncing around in the second stage Deleting apps must have felt really satisfying, eyes out of sight, mind at ease I've been following this series of articles, want to see what kind of god-level mentors you've encountered Honestly, the most frightening phase was when it affected sleep. You're already evolved from that now

I’ve also used the delete app trick before, now I’ve installed it back haha Turning a 50 yuan fund into A-shares has been quite a journey That wave in 2022 was really intense, surviving was winning Value investing without profit and still persisting, I don’t have that kind of resolve Waiting to see your mentor series, hoping to learn something useful The biggest gain over these seven years is probably the change in mindset Damn, deleting apps like that is genius, I thought about it too at the time Not losing money is making money, the kind of forced long-term holding Talking about being calm and unshaken is easy, but few actually do it Looking forward to your future shares

Deleting apps is a brilliant move; I did the same in 2022 haha It took seven years to realize this mindset, not bad at all Starting with a 50-dollar fund, now talking about investment mentors, this contrast is quite interesting Waiting to see your story, hope it’s not just another motivational chicken soup Value investing without profits? Talk about the system? Let’s make money first The key is to follow through with execution; that’s the biggest enemy, I think Staying calm in turbulent times is easy; the real challenge is whether to add to your position
