DUSK has recently attracted a lot of attention. Basically, it aims to solve small transaction scenarios in Web3—such as tipping and game settlements. Technically, it adopts a hybrid consensus mechanism to balance security and efficiency, which increases transaction throughput and reduces costs. It sounds promising, but the key is implementation. The project is still in the early stages of ecosystem development, and whether there are users in real applications and an active developer community are the real factors that will determine how far it can go. From the micro-payment track, DUSK has indeed found an imaginative entry point.
