NVIDIA aims to become the Android system of the general robotics field.
At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), NVIDIA announced a comprehensive physical artificial intelligence ecosystem for the robotics field, including new open foundational models for humanoid robots such as Cosmos Reason 2 and Isaac GR00T N1.6, all available on the Hugging Face platform. The company also launched the Isaac Lab-Arena simulation framework and OSMO control center, supported by the all-new Jetson T4000 edge hardware. This full-stack platform, combined with deeper collaboration with Hugging Face, aims to make robot development more accessible and position NVIDIA as the preferred supplier in the robotics industry, much like Android’s role in the smartphone sector.
