Recently, I have been observing the development trends in the storage sector and have identified a direction worth paying attention to.

Currently, Web3 applications are becoming increasingly complex, and the storage of large files and unstructured data remains an unavoidable challenge—high costs, slow speeds, and low efficiency. Traditional solutions have always struggled to fully resolve these contradictions.

The idea behind the Walrus project is very interesting. They have built a decentralized storage network architecture, with the core advantage of deep integration with the Sui ecosystem. This is not just a simple technical connection but a foundational infrastructure laid out for the future large-scale Web3 applications—similar to repairing the underlying roads before rapid growth.

In the long term, infrastructure projects that hold technological moats and mastery, once the ecosystem is truly operational, will have considerable value capture capabilities. $WAL, as the network’s governance token, plays an obvious role in this process.

Rather than chasing various short-term hot topics every day, it’s better to focus on projects with genuine technical accumulation that solve real pain points. These projects are suitable for establishing medium- to long-term attention and deployment—although the process may not be as exciting, the returns are often more solid. Ecosystem construction takes time, and there should be more major moves in the future.

Oh my god, I haven't paid much attention to the Walrus idea before. I need to look into it more deeply.

Yes, storage is indeed a bottleneck, and the Walrus approach is quite promising. Speaking of which, the Sui ecosystem is really laying the groundwork now. Focusing on infrastructure projects early on is definitely the right move. Whether $WAL can succeed still depends on whether the ecosystem can truly be utilized. Having just a technological moat isn't enough. But compared to constantly chasing high-priced coins, researching projects with practical applications is indeed more reliable.

It's the storage track again. Why does it feel like the hot topics rotate so quickly these past two months? Last week, we were still talking about the Filecoin ecosystem.

I've long been optimistic about storage; Walrus indeed has some substance. The infrastructure of the Sui ecosystem is solidly built. Long-term holding is the right approach.

Storage is indeed often overlooked, but with Walrus being so closely tied to Sui... it's a bit hard not to be pessimistic.

Infrastructure projects are indeed often overlooked, but they are the real gold mine.

To be honest, the Sui ecosystem's recent layout is quite impressive, but whether Walrus can truly sustain itself depends on its future execution capability.

I've long been optimistic about the storage track, and Walrus indeed has some substance. The Sui ecosystem's foundational infrastructure move is good; the difficulty lies in actually getting the ecosystem to take off. However, $WAL is still better to wait before entering; the ecosystem story isn't finished yet.
