By 2026, when local LLMs combined with Coding Agents become truly mature, they will fundamentally change the rules of personal knowledge management. Imagine having an Agent that intelligently organizes the vast amount of documents and materials in Obsidian for you, automatically categorizing, linking, and extracting—this kind of efficiency boost is a qualitative leap.

Honestly, the PKM tool category has already begun to take off in the past two years, and the market is not short of excellent product forms. But what’s missing is that final step—genuine intelligent orchestration capability. Once this gap is filled, the way personal knowledge systems are organized will be redefined. This is not just an upgrade of tools, but more like an advancement in productivity.

It's still early for 2026. Right now, local LLMs can already do the work, so don't always think about waiting for perfection. I'm just worried that by then, it will be the same old story, and adding new features might make things even more chaotic. Talking about Obsidian with Agent is easy, but the real challenge is making it understand your knowledge logic. There are plenty of PKM tools, but the key is that most people simply can't understand how to use them. Why wait for intelligent orchestration? I really want to see how these tool companies will sell their products when that day truly arrives. They're also talking about productivity upgrades, which has become quite tiresome. But if it could automatically link notes together, that would be truly awesome.

Is 2026 still far away? It feels a bit too early to say that. The local LLM is still a cut-down version... Obsidian with agents is indeed tempting, but who will guarantee data security? That's the real pain point. There are a bunch of PKM tools, but only a few are truly enjoyable to use. The key issue is still the people. One last push... Fine, I'll believe it just this once.

That's correct, but I think 2026 might still be too optimistic... Will the local LLM's computing power be enough? By then, it will probably still need to run on the cloud.

It's still early for 2026. Who will save me with a bunch of notes piled up in Obsidian? Wait, if local LLMs really mature, I still have to label data myself? If PKM can take off, I’ll believe it. I've been saying this for years. Automatic categorization sounds great, but will it mess up my stuff and take more time to fix? I've heard too many stories of last-minute failures. In the end, I guess I still have to do manual adjustments. No, the problem isn't the tool at all; it's that I'm too lazy to organize.

2026 is still a long way off, but just thinking about the day Agent truly takes over Obsidian... I really would be so thrilled. For now, let's stick to manual tuning; it's too competitive.

Sounds pretty good, but I still think 2026 is too optimistic. Local LLMs are still underwhelming right now. People have been calling for automated organization of these kinds of needs for a while, but the key is whether there are actually usable products. Whether Obsidian combined with this set can run smoothly is another story... Everyone says it's just one step away, but I think it might still be two steps away. The term "productivity upgrade" is back again; it was said the same way last time.

It's still early for 2026, but honestly, local LLMs are indeed brewing something. If it could automatically organize all those messy notes in Obsidian, how much mental effort would I save? But on the other hand, current PKM tools are already quite competitive; what’s missing is that "final step," right? It feels like everyone is waiting for this critical point. Wait, four more years until 2026...
