What should the future of the internet look like? It shouldn't be a casino where a few winners monopolize traffic, but rather a diverse and mutually prosperous ecosystem.

The real change lies in the redistribution of power. When users control their own data and every interaction translates into tangible economic benefits, what we see is no longer zero-sum competition for traffic, but explosive growth in value.

In this new ecosystem: users are no longer passive consumers but co-builders and beneficiaries of the ecosystem; the value generated by data flow is directly returned to contributors; shifting from a centralized harvesting model to a decentralized, collaborative, and win-win approach. This is precisely the paradigm shift that Web3 aims to achieve for the internet.

Sounds good, but how many platforms are actually capable of doing it now?

lmao "value explosion" - u mean like when everyone's farming tokens that dump 99% in week 2? actually if u do the math on data monetization mechanics, the gas costs alone will eat your margin before u even see a basis point of profit. ngmi energy tbh.

Web3 ideals are grand, but what about reality? Will big corporations obediently hand over power? --- Sounds good in theory, but can data really be controlled at will? I doubt it. --- It's that same rhetoric of co-creation and win-win, but I just can't buy it. --- Reallocating power... depends on who has the mining rigs to speak for them. --- Can you make money from every interaction? Why am I still poor haha. --- Decentralized collaboration and win-win sounds sexy, but someone has to take over the responsibility.

Sounds good, but how long will it really take to achieve decentralization? It sounds nice, but the key is who will actually execute it. Here we go again, always talking about changing the world. Wake up. Data ownership has been technically feasible for a long time; the problem is that interest groups don't want to let go. Feels like storytelling, but is it truly practical? A gathering place for Web3 enthusiasts? Ha, let's wait until the economic benefits actually arrive. The core issue is who empowers the users—capitalists? I don't oppose it, but first we need to address the big pit of user education. Multilateral coexistence sounds comfortable, but monopoly is just a different form. This is the ideal state, but what about reality?

Well said, but has it really been implemented?
