After messing around in DeFi for a long time, I care more and more about one thing:

When I press the confirm button, what exactly am I taking on?

It’s not just about price fluctuations — after all, market ups and downs are normal — but whether the entire outcome can be quietly rewritten during the process.

Many variable interest rate experiences are really too similar.
When I first enter, I use a calculator to figure everything out clearly: yields, costs, risk boundaries are all transparent.

But after holding the position for a while and looking back, I realize that the interest rate has long since drifted, the liquidation line has shifted with the market, and the initially calculated funding costs are no longer on the same ledger.

You think you’re actively managing risk, but in reality, you’ve been passively accepting all kinds of changes from the start — the more you watch, the more anxious you become.
I gradually understand what @TermMaxFi wants to do.
It’s not about more aggressive leverage, nor higher short-term returns, but about hardening this fluctuating risk profile.

It’s about converting those uncertain, vague future risks into a tangible result you can understand and judge right now.

In the highly volatile DeFi market, this is actually quite good.
Most protocols are implicitly encouraging you:
Take on a little more change, risk a little more, and you can exchange it for higher potential returns.
But TermMaxFi doesn’t want you to be led by the market, instead allowing you to participate steadily and securely.

At least in my view, this isn’t about chasing more exciting gameplay, but about providing DeFi with a more controllable way to participate — no need to force yourself to bet on market trends or rules remaining unchanged, while still earning the returns you deserve.
