The crypto market is holding its ground with a modest uptick—total market cap edged up 0.33% to $3.01 trillion. Bitcoin slipped 0.23%, while Ethereum showed more resilience, gaining 1.83%.

Holiday season is taking its toll on liquidity. With fewer traders active, daily liquidations have stayed unusually tame, mostly hovering under $200 million and sometimes dipping below $100 million. This thin liquidity environment is actually keeping things relatively calm—fewer forced closures means less violent swings.

Funding rates across the board remain subdued, which typically signals weak conviction. However, there's an interesting divergence emerging: select altcoins are showing upticks in leveraged demand, suggesting traders are rotating attention toward specific projects rather than betting broadly on the market.

Meanwhile, traditional equities are stumbling into headwinds of their own, which could spillover effects on sentiment. Worth keeping an eye on.

Holiday liquidity is so poor, and people are still rotating small coins? Truly patient... --- Market is dull and uneventful, but ETH's gains are pretty good; BTC is a bit disappointing. --- The liquidation amount is so low, it feels like the market is dead... Let's wait for the stock market to react before we say anything. --- Funding rates are weak, but secretly some people are throwing money into small coins. This routine is full of tricks. --- Trading volume during the holiday is too dry, and instead there's less volatility. This "cool" phase is quite comfortable. --- I just want to know what projects these rotating small coins are interested in; I want to copy too. --- The worse the liquidity, the easier it is to be exploited. Those who still leverage during the holiday are true warriors. --- The 3.01 trillion is holding strong, but it doesn't feel like anyone is really trading... --- If the stock market is going to crash, we might as well not expect to have a good time either. Such correlations are really annoying.

Sigh, the market is so flat, and now I have to keep an eye on the stock market movements, afraid of getting splashed with blood? What are you even doing?

Liquidity exhaustion has now become an advantage, at least no need to worry about being liquidated by a sudden crash... Interesting. ETH is holding the ground, BTC is taking it easy, why is the difference so big? This wave is mainly big players quietly choosing their tracks, retail investors are still sleepwalking. The stock market is also starting to shake, gotta watch out for the splattered blood. During the holiday atmosphere, who the hell has the mood to trade cryptocurrencies? Funds are selectively flowing into small coins, indicating that the circle has its reasons. Funding rates are fine, showing that no one truly believes in anything. A rare period of calm, maybe a sign of a storm coming.
