Recently, there has been a very obvious phenomenon——the trading volume in December was directly halved compared to October, a 50% drop. What does this indicate? The market has indeed been hit hard, and many people have chosen to exit.

But interestingly, although overall trading volume is declining, DEXs are quietly rising. The trading volume of decentralized exchanges is now approaching that of centralized exchanges, accounting for about 70%. This trend is real, and more and more people are beginning to believe that decentralized exchanges are the future.

Speaking of DEX platforms, there are a few currently popular—$UNI, $HYPE, $ASTER, $CAKE, each with its own characteristics. From the perspectives of risk and cost-effectiveness, I still favor $UNI the most. This token has relatively stable performance and prospects in the market, making it worth paying attention to.
UNI2,89%
HYPE0,8%
ASTER5,73%
CAKE1,24%

DEX is really taking off. Not joining this wave might be a bit of a loss.

hold up, that 70% dex volume claim needs actual on-chain verification tbh. analyzed the numbers thoroughly and red flags detected on those metrics... where's the data source here?

What does the halving of trading volume indicate? Retail investors are really fleeing, and DEXs are actually rising. This logic is quite interesting. UNI is indeed stable, but I still want to wait and see. Those entering now are just the bagholders. Halving? The bear market is here. The popularity of DEXs is just a different place to cut leeks. 70%? Where did this data come from? It feels a bit exaggerated. It's a good thing that DEXs are rising, but can UNI, CAKE, and others really withstand a big drop? A plunge in trading volume is normal; this is the market clearing out. UNI looks good, but it's still too early to bottom fish now. Let's wait a bit longer.

DEX has really taken off, and this wave is definitely noticeable. UNI is stable, but it just feels like there's no big surprise...
