This market has never been about how much you can make, but how long you can survive.

Recently, I came across a case where a trader experienced continuous losses in May, ultimately losing all their capital. Reviewing their trading records, the problem wasn't market judgment, but that they always went all-in. When the market slightly fluctuated, their account was wiped out. After changing their strategy, the situation was completely different.

Having been in the crypto market for many years, I have seen too many myths of overnight doubles and witnessed too many cases of total loss. But one thing always holds true: the traders who survive the longest are often not the smartest, but the most cautious.

**Position Management: The Only Rule to Stay Alive**

The first mistake many make is overleveraging. They think that as long as they judge the direction correctly, they should bet big. But the black swan events in the crypto market are countless, and no matter how precise the analysis, it’s hard to be foolproof.

A more rational approach is: keep total position size within 30% of the account, and set stop-loss at 3% of the principal. This may sound conservative, but the logic is simple—giving yourself room to make mistakes.

For example, with 100,000 in capital, invest only 10,000-20,000 per trade, with a stop-loss at 3%. Even if you are wrong five times in a row, the total loss is less than 10%. The key is that as long as you catch one true trend, that profit can offset all losses and even leave a good surplus. That’s why some people can survive the volatility and even thrive.

Full position is really a death trap; I've seen too many people go all-in and get eliminated immediately. Getting five consecutive wrong calls without dying—that's the true way to stay alive.

Full-position players should be wiped out; this is the market's automatic filtering mechanism.

Full position is suicidal. I've seen too many people go all-in and end up wiped out instantly.

That guy who went all-in really deserves it; greed is never satisfied, and a snake swallowing an elephant.
