On-Chain Evening Review: ETH bears' unrealized gains exceed $11 million, while another whale liquidates and exits

On December 29, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, the following are the movements of popular whales with new rebalancing from 10:00 to 20:00:
Bullish camp:

• “30 consecutive long attempts with repeated failures” actively opened longs in the morning (NEAR/ETH/HYPE), and continued rolling over positions in the afternoon, increasing HYPE long positions by over 58,000 tokens, but gradually closed positions at the end of the day (taking profits), including SEI (profit-taking), ETH (profit-taking), and NEAR (cutting losses).
• “Maji Huang Licheng” added 40,000 HYPE longs in the afternoon and slightly increased positions, with a total holding of about $1.3 million. Short-term bullish on HYPE, fully closed positions within the last hour to cut losses.
• “On-chain Lighter’s largest long” set multiple high-level take-profit orders on the LIT contract (target > $4.1), with unrealized losses but still holding firmly without reducing positions.

Bearish camp:

• “ZEC’s largest short” opened a new short position of 3.26 million FARTCOIN in the morning, and rolled over positions in the afternoon, increasing ETH short positions (holding over $133 million, unrealized profit over $11 million), making it the largest ETH short.
• “Long-to-short whale” took profit of $58,300 from SOL short positions, and still holds heavy positions in BTC/ETH shorts (total scale over $123 million).

Whale liquidation and exit:

• “pension-usdt.eth” reduced ETH short positions significantly for six consecutive times, then exited the market, with high-level stop-loss (total loss of $2.51 million), some shorts exited amid volatility.
