Watch the richest people today. Most of them built something from scratch. Some caught the wave early. Others competed hard or came up with something nobody else thought of. But here's the thing—almost zero of them got there just by showing up to work and collecting a paycheck.
Salary? That's not a wealth strategy. It's a stability blanket.
People don't like saying this out loud, but once you realize the difference between income and assets, everything shifts. Whether you're grinding in crypto, staking tokens, or building a startup, the math is the same: passive streams > active labor. That's not cynicism, that's just how it works.

ngl the passive income framing here is where it gets weird tho... like yeah assets > wages mathematically but the survivor bias is absolutely thick. not everyone can just "stake tokens" lol, infrastructure costs, slashing risk, validator attrition... nobody talks about that part

Reliable analysis, but still not ruthless enough. I've already earned back the milk powder money for my three kids through arbitrage on forks. Salary? That's a trap set for those who lack awareness.

Earning a salary can support oneself; assets can support future generations. There's nothing wrong with that statement.
Real talk on wealth:
