The power struggle of the AAVE ecosystem: The control game between DAO and private enterprises.

Abstract generation in progress

[Chain News] There is an interesting phenomenon fermenting in the AAVE ecosystem - a former core member, Marc Zeller, recently pointed out an issue: what truly drives the development of the protocol is actually the AAVE DAO, rather than Avara, which has already become an independent enterprise.

The facts of recent years are there: risk management, technology iteration, ecological expansion—these key businesses are all being handled by service providers under DAO, continuously generating actual revenue for the protocol. However, there is a hidden danger—strategic brand assets like domain names and trademarks are controlled unilaterally by private companies.

Zeller pointed out that this situation seems harmless, but in reality, it is eroding the governance power of the DAO. In the long term, this not only undermines the fairness of the ecosystem but may also lead to a loss of talent, ultimately harming the development foundation of the entire protocol. In other words, if the control over these core assets is never in the hands of the DAO, there are concerns about the long-term stability of the protocol.

It's the same old centralized trick again; it’s indeed quite frustrating that domain trademarks are in the hands of private companies. Avara is raking in profits, but the DAO is being sidelined; how is this called Decentralization? To be honest, someone should have pointed this out long ago, and Marc has hit the nail on the head. The DAO provides funding and support, but private companies are choking it; this is really ridiculous.

Here it comes again, this trap of power games. DAO does the work, private enterprises take the voice, a classic capital script.

Haha, isn't this just a typical "I work, you get paid" scenario? Avara holding the domain trademark is like holding the lifeline of the protocol, it's just ridiculous. The DAO does all the work but has to look at the private company's face, it's bound to explode sooner or later. This time Zeller daring to speak out is a breakthrough; otherwise, everyone pretends not to see.

Oh no, isn't this just the old trick of centralization... domain trademarks are held by private companies, and the DAO works for them for free.

It's another classic centralized trap, where the DAO does the work and private enterprises reap the benefits. It's really ridiculous.
